A German production, but in English.

Not worth it.  Flying scenes are very short, crappy and don't show a Hell of a lot and the story itself is crap.  Flyboys was a better movie.

I'm watching it right now on my Roku via Netflix.  It's better that "Flyboys" imo.  It's not the best movie in terms of story and narrative structure, but it looks good.  I particularly like the mix of uniforms and civilian clothing that they wear, like in "Das Boot." "Flyboys" was a popcorn movie.

"The Blue Max" and "Dawn Patrol" are my favorite WWI aviation movies.

Anyway, the overriding theme is - run from a battle that you cannot win.
