in the offline mode when i blast a wing of a b-24 for example it keeps flying in the wide circle that it was with the wing...

this may not be accurate, but i think its how this works
when offline, you have to hit a drone a certain number of times for it to go down- 7.62 to 30mm do the same damage. if you take out a wing, the cpu does not respond to this by making the plane go down. the reason it happens online is because the players are using their own cpu, therefore it responds to it's own flight axis. if you did this offline, many systems would simply crash

Drones only die when you kill the pilot or outright blow up the aircraft. Otherwise they remain in the race-track pattern they've always used. It isn't a bug, its a feature. Now the Ostwind firing two shots all the time instead of one, that's a bug.
And no, .30 through 30mm do NOT inflict the same amount of damage offline. One hit with a 30mm will remove whole chunks of airframe, while .30 cal merely sprinkles hit sprites across the model. It is easily tested and verified.

Can you verify this with some numbers? It should take exactly the same to remove any component of the plane.
Also verify you have not changed lethality in the arena settings for off line.

I must of been on flak's wavelength, I think we both assumed WildCat meant 30cals and 30mms inflict the same damage as each other offline, as in each round is equal in firepower. Flak was just correcting him, which depending on how you read WildCat's sentence, he may or may not of needed :lol

What he said. I figured WildCat meant that a .30 cal round and a 30mm shell were doing the same damage as each other. Definitely NOT the case, and very easily verified. Drive a 109K up behind the B24 drone and hit the B key once. Whole chunks go missing. Hold the F key and you'll see hit sprites instead of a cascade of airplane parts. Whether or not they're inflicting the same amount of damage as in the online arenas, I couldn't tell you: I don't have access to those settings :)
As far as my offline settings go, I haven't changed the lethality at all. I know I turned off protected structures, kicked the ammo cap to 10x normal (gunnery practice) and tweaked a few visibility settings, but nothing changed in the lethality department.

Here flakbait is saying the .303 MG round and 30mm cannon shell do not do the same amount of damage relative to each other, not saying that they do not do the same amount of damage as their online counterparts...calm down, HT...no need to elevate your blood pressure unnecessarily...
