You all should know who he is, 7 foot 7 basketball player from Sudan.  He was only 47.

I remember as a kid, my buddy had a poster of Spud Webb dunking over Manute.  :aok

That is sad.  He was loved by all as I understood. RIP Manute.  :salute

Yea I just skimmed some of the articles about him.  Apparently he was a real humanitarian, involved in lots of good work.

He was a good ball player, but a great human being.  He has helped so many people in his time.  :salute :salute
