Title: CPU Upgrade

Cant seem to find any info or FAQ's to answer a question.

Im getting a p3 1g for this Asus CUSL2 to tide me over till after the holidays. Then will build a new machine, this one will probably go to my brother.

My ? (maybe a dumb one) Will a FORMAT C and a fresh install be required after flashing of the BIOS and physical install of the new CPU. Will Win98se mind swapping the CPU out from under it?
