the Japanese built tanks like they built planes- with no regards to the crew whatsoever :lol

+1 why not?

It never saw combat. The few dozen they built were all retained for the defense of the home islands.

You might want to do some research before spouting nonsense.

Although he is wrong, the end result is true. Japanese tanks would stand little to no chance in AH's GV world from what I've seen of there specs.

Wouldn't mind a type 97 but they'd be killed by anything bigger than a .303...

i really like voids' original post, but i dont think wrongways' tank will be put to good use, they are really similar to the M8 which is jus a ddistraction and a quick get to town.

A6Ms and Ki-43s had exactly the same amount of armor that the Spitfire Mk I, Hurricane Mk I and Bf109 had in 1939, none.
The Ki-84 and N1K2 have pretty much the same level of protection as the Spitfire Mk XVI and P-51D.
The H8K2 had a fully protected fuel system and armor for each crew position.
The reasons for the lack of armor on many Japanese aircraft are many, but not caring about what happened to the pilots isn't one of them.
-
to easy to take out in my P-47. +1 on diveristy on GV.
-
As almost always, I see most people are only thinking LWA . . .
Personally I'd love to see some early war tanks (not the Chi-To, the other Japanese tanks). It might actually make me want to go to the early war arena. It would also allow the T-34/76 its rightful status as a perked early war tank.
But it will likely never happen. :(

That's why they crashed into US ships for the sole purpose of dying for the emperor, correct?

Sending kamikazi attacks into allied shipping was no more suicidal than some of the bombing raids the allies launched against heavy targets.

how?
the japanese knew that their missions were a one-way trip.
-
So did some allied aircrews. Many knew they would not return.
The bravery of the Japanese pilots was incredible, giving a promise to not return.

Sure it's not the Type 4 Oh-Cheet?

Because they were desperate and accurately assessed that sending those pilots out to fight would have the same effect on those pilots as sending them to crash into ships, less the damage inflicted on the enemy. Untrained pilots, be they Russian, German or Japanese, all face the same fate when thrown at trained pilots, they die, enmasse.

Hm. Seems your flaming has back fired, as he has accepted the things you say for truth. Refreshing to see someone less stubborn than the rest of us in the community.

....the M8 which is just a distraction.....
I disagree.
