Title: Joystick rudder question
Post by: Mogi on November 21, 2001, 09:54:00 AM
I'm using a MSFFB with the twist rudder.  to prevent accidentally activating the rudder while moving the stick, I've had to deadband it severely.  It works ok in flight, but on takeoff won't, of course, work well.  Can I still use the key commands for rudder on takeoff, or will they be dead banded to the stick settings (they seem to be).  Short of buying a rudder pedal setup, does anyone have any ideas or ideal stick settings for the rudder?

Hehe, going to tell you the same thing that I've told a couple ppl in this last month.  Go buy a cheap (30 dollar or so) racing wheel that works with ur OS and use the pedals as rudders.  It's a breeze to setup in AH and will more effective in game than using a twisty or ur keyboard.  But sry, I dont' have the answer to ur keyboard question.
