West Over AirForce Base In Chicoppe Massachussetts. Hope To See Some
OF The Aces High Family There. I Will Be Wearing A TeeShirt With My Sqaud Logo
And www.aceshigh.com/www.bombergroup.com Of The Dickweed Heavy Bomber Group.

Nope.  This air show is being hosted by the Barnes Air National Guard at Westfield Airfield.  Westover won't happen till 2012.

honestly airshows are a HUGE production and one of those things that people just can not understand the grand efforts that went into producing them.  The risks the pilots take alone is amazing.  Would recommend no matter what people go if they are near one, or drive and stay overnight within an acceptable driving distance, which for me is about 4+ hours (IE: Dayton).

I used to go to Airshows at Westover AFB in the 80's when I lived in CT.
Saw the Thunderbirds,lots of vintage aircraft and always had a blast.
Would love to attend but it's a really long trip now.

No problem GE43.  Getting my son to do anything is a challenge in itself.  :D

I will try and make this show if I can get a day off from work.  It's relatively a small show, but if it's nice out, it's a fun day.  :salute

Just want to add that the Blue Angels will be at the Boston - New England Air Show at Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth, NH  (formerly Pease AFB) August 28 & 29, 2010.
A week after Westfield Air Show.

It will unfortunately be in the middle of football camp at Western New England College.  Only 1 town away.   :cry

Maybe Ill get to see them fly into Westfield during practice.
