This series is the best ever for a Console. I spent MANY hours with GT and GT2.

PSSSH for breakfast! so wheres the new meet at, i'm going to get out the at some point this summer.
Wasted a ton of time on all of them and GT4 was pretty much the only game i was playing on the PS2 till i got the PS3.

Well I only go to, ummmm, 3 meets a weeks: the private Wednesday night meets, the Friday night meets in Pearland, and the obligatory Kemah meets on Saturday. Take your pick man. You can even bring your PSP and play your little ricer game amongst the cool cars there. See you there!

yup :aok
great example of how a fixed hardware spec allows deveolpers time to properly optimise the software too, the difference between GT and GT2 was amazing. in fact I cant think of another PS game that got quite as much out of the hardware as GT2 did. GT3 was great but just wasnt quite as mind blowing as the GT2 release.

i have every series of GT, i love the game and im looking forward to GT5 on my 46in Led whooo hoooo i do have to say thou GT4 was kind of a let down, limited cutomizing and tuning if any.. if i remember correctly
-
GT4 had the same amount of tuning if not more as 2 & 3. GT1 your were able to race modify the bodies of the cars and that would also change the paint job on the car to a race style. From 2 on they offered race versions instead of modifying the street car.
-
Playing GT1-4 was my homework. Play all week save your car roster. Go to friends and try to whoop what he had.
Ricer you say!
