Title: AH film viewer not working
Post by: FA-ref-u-g on June 30, 2010, 12:36:06 PM
Ive recorded some flights, as I've had suggestions to improve are to watch what you do against other players, but I cant seem to get my viewer to work. All it says is that windows will search for a program to play the videos, but none seem to work.

someone said that aces high film viewer is imbedded in the game, but doesnt appear to be in my version. I've gone into my "films" folder and found the recordings i've made but cant view them.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to to associate the films with AHfilm.exe, which is in your Aces High directory (think that's the name of the film viewer.)

The other way is to go your Aces High directory and run AHFilm.exe.  Then click Open - it should automatically look in Aces High/Films for what films to open and you double-click which one you want.

Note you cannot run AHfilm.exe and Aces High at the same time.

Associate the "ahf" file extension with ahfilm.exe, or start the film viewer (Start->Programs->Aces High->Aces High Film Viewer) and use the "File->Open" command to open the film.

Is there any way to just install the film viewer alone? I remove mine via a selective unitnstall to try and get it working again.

The film viewer requires all the data files that are installed with the game.
