Title: Track IR 5

This may be a question I should direct to naturalpoint but I wanted to give it a shot here.  I open the Track IR software and do some tweeking to the profile or whatever.  Then I open AH and test the new settings.  I minimize AH or close/quit because I want to go back to the Track IR software for more tweeks. At this point I can't open the Track IR software, I get a dialogue box that indicates "Track IR is already running".  I have tried to open T IR from desktop, tray, all programs, everywhere..The only solution for returning to T IR is reboot.  any ideas?   :cheers:

I just double-click the tray icon, or right-click and select Minimiize/Maximize.  Never had any problems.   Do you have the option set for "minimize to system tray" from the menu?

you never closed trakir to begin with  u only minimized it.  check on start task manager and double click on it.  think your start bar has the icon hidden.  if you look at your camera and it has any lights on then you are already running trakir.

I never touch Track IR  (it's open).  I Just open AH...check out the new settings then close or minimize AH.  Track IR is dead at that point.  I have to reboot to get back to T IR

Sounds like perhaps you need to uninstall/reinstall the TIR software and/or USB driver.

Refugee,

I think the posts above are correct.  I noticed the same thing when I first started using TrackIR 5.  Once you minimize AH it looks like TIR has closed, but it is really still open (you can verify this by going back into AH and see that TIR is still working). 

I'm running XP so the TIR software icon is located on the bottom right-hand side of my start menu bar.  It I double click that icon, i can get back into the TIR software with no problems. 

Hopefully that's all it is.   :salute
