-
We need the link :)
-
after you upload the file it gives you a link to use in the post. There is no way for anyone to search that site to find a file named "no kill on tiger.ahf"

the 75mm APs are rubbish and the tiger is a beast. try it offline, you'll get the same.
-
I've done some tests offline when the M4's first came out. The best way to kill a Tiger is to turret him from behind or the side (it will take 2 rounds from VERY close up, say under 100yds to be safe), and track or damage his engine, and then roll up JUST behind him, and put a round down on the engine deck (the M4 is tall enough to do so). You will want to be almost touching the back of his turret with your gun barrel. Aim down at the engine deck, and fire an AP round.
If the tiger is very busy (say there is a buch of tanks defending a Vbase and you get in behind the base with the tiger at the back), or if there are several tanks in close proximity (you won't want to waste multiple rounds and get killed before you kill the tiger), you can do this without turreting him or damageing his engine.

Execution style, lol

As always, The question is: Which M4? ;)
And to the OP: Not only the M4A3(75) with it's low-performance M3 gun (http://) is badly suited to kill the Tiger from any range, but you are also made a big mistake when shootingat him: You had set up your own tank in a bad position, so that your rounds hit the Tiger at an angle, instead of hitting the armor flat. Thus you gave him additional protection.
-
One would think after so many rounds ricochet off harmlessly one would question whether or not they should try a different angle, range, gun, anything but running the same experiment over and over and expecting different results.
But then again, you are in that "v" squad. :lol

"Kelly, the Tigah has only one weak point, it's ass. You gotta hit point blank and u gotta hit it from behind!"

I started to film after the 20th round, in I did move around the tiger and tried different angels, still 'No joy" =V=

The 75 M3 gun is a very weak one. See it's performance here: http://gva.freeweb.hu/weapons/usa_guns5.html
And then keep in mind the Tiger has 80mm armor even on the rear...
-
Big123, side shots are possible, but they must be flat against the armor, and from very close. Rear shots are easier, but still yield little beside damaging the tiger. I haven't had the patience to see how many rounds it takes to kill a tiger from the rear at point blank range. So far, I've gotten upto 47 rds before I got bored and quit. Once you have him disabled, try my method and I guarantee you will see results.
-
Last two nights I've had my Tiger killed from the side with one shot. I think an M4-76 and a pnzr but not sure. But shooting back i've never killed a Tiger with one shot. A couple of days ago all my shots from a tiger on one tank went thru him with no affect. Another tank finally killed him.
-
(i know we are talking about the tiger here) but my record for kills in thr 75 is 57 (somthing close to that) and all these shots were to the side and rear of other tanks panzers, other M4's,firefly and all of them basicly in one shot so how weak is the gun REALLY then??

so how weak is the gun REALLY then??
See link I provided above.
And you may compare those tanks side/rear armor thickness to the 75mm M3's armor penetration as well as the Tigers
The Tiger has 80mm of rear armor - That's what other tanks of the period had as frontal armor!

Still very weak. Most frontal shots on the M4's and T-34's are impossible. The panzer is the only tank that has most of its front vulnerable to the M4(75).

not only were most of these shots at the wrong angle but i also saw you start shooting the turret's frontal armor in the video
