Title: Dot command for Skin?
Post by: Pand on July 08, 2010, 03:37:31 AM
I seem to be having issues with my 'hangar' skin/fuel/ordnance loadout configurations when changing arenas, and sometimes just randomly it will reset to the default of default skin/25% fuel/no Ord.

I wrote some macros that can select my plane, fuel, ordnance via dot commands which works really well; however, is there a dot command for selecting the skin, and if there isn't one, can we get that added?

Thanks and Regards,

Pand

I Confirm issue skin.

You wrote some macros but a dot command doesn't exist?  :O

ps

I think that Skuzzy will move this post on whishlist.

I wrote my macros to include the following dot commands that work great.
.plane X
.ord X X
.fuel X

Would love to add .skin X to the list.

I guess this is a two part post:

1.  Technical Issue that Aces doesn't save my config consistently.
2.  Wish that we had the ability for a .skin, because of issue #1.  ;)

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum... thanks!

I believe this only happens with the P51D and not with other planes?

My understanding is that this is a bug that goes back aways (at least 3 years as far as I know). Since its effects are not all that game impacting (except to the individual that gets caught by it) it has never been fixed.

If you select any plane twice in a row it will default the selections. Simply select it once. Do not double click. Do not click, pause, click again. Just click once and all will be good with remembering your last skins and weapons selections.
