Title: "program make changes to this computer" message
Post by: MachFly on July 08, 2010, 11:45:27 PM
I have just started using windows 7 and I noticed every time I want to install a program it gives you that "do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer" message. The problem is this message keeps appearing every time I want to open firefox.
I had fifefox installed for about a week on this computer and everything was fine, the message just started appearing today.

I know if I press "change when these notifications appear" I can set it to not appear at all but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. If I set it to the 2nd lowest option the message still appears every time I want to open fifefox.

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

thanks

The problem is User Account Control. You can turn it off forever if you want (I did).

You dont actually need TweakUAC to do this but there it is.
