Title: Question for those who have lived abroad for some time
Post by: Mano on July 09, 2010, 06:11:44 PM
If you notice all the dogs in the U.S. always say "Bark Bark"

Question is: What do the dogs say down in Mexico?

Dunno about Mexico but en Espana they just 'wooof-wooof' until someone takes a shot at 'em. Then the survivors bark even louder.

The cats just screech. Ah, the joys of pueblo living . . .

The scenery and social life's great though. This was the view from mi sun terrace last Christmas day:

And here's a survivor from the 'Christianos y Moros' Fiesta in Alcoy:

Hell of a life, eh?

The same as in Korea?

And in Tahiti, of course. Dear ol' Cap'n Cook survived a bout of sumfin nastee on his 'Endeavour' voyage thanks to the stew made from a dog given to him by the King of that fine island.

Here in Kentucky if you ask a dog how he is doing, he'll say "Give me a bottle of 'shine and take me huntin' I'll be doin' a helluva lot better."  :rofl

Assuming you really want to know, it's actually "guau guau" (similar sound to "wow wow")
