Newfoundland mix. Check out the muzzle and the hair. Docked tail has me puzzled though. Cool looking dog though.

The dog in this picture would scare me though...talk about a "bear".

Its a pure bread newf....maybe 2 different types of newfs but it is straight newf. The tail is there she said(I asked the same thing when I saw the picture).

I think her words were..."You cant see it behind his fatarse" lol

BTW The newf is Bentley, the Sheppard/hound mix is Rosco. Bentley's mom(a lancaster breed newf) was 155 pounds, his dad..........was 220 and stood taller then me at 6' 3".

The dog in the pic with the pony is a Neapolitan mastiff and the pic is photoshopped.

Neo's have gained notoriety lately as a result of the Harry Potter movies.

While they are a very large breed close in size to the English Mastiff, they aren't as tall at the shoulder and can be heavier boned than the English.

BTW in case anyone gets the idea to get one, please read as much as possible about the breed, also watch Turner and Hooch, while a slightly different mastiff it doesn't drool quite as much as a Neo does.In fact it's recommended you have a area where you can feed the dog that is easily cleaned....... :rofl :rofl :rofl

Having spent 1 day with a Neo,it's not something I'll ever forget.

A friend of the gf has a French mastiff, the Turner and Hooch dog.  It doesn't drool as bad as the one in the film, but it's a pretty heavy drooler to be sure.  All those dogs with the v mouth and flaps are pretty bad droolers.  Just something you have to live with if you want one of those kind of dogs.  A lot of people can't overcome that kind of thing, and I understand that for sure.

The food bill really can get out of control if you want to feed them a good diet and not some mostly filler high carb and grain type of junk dog food.  And the poop of a big dog becomes a real issue, even if you have a big yard.

I do love a big dog though, just something about them.  So fun to wrestle with too.

Yeah the dog in the pic has been photoshopped to much larger than real size.  :D  Would be really scary though wouldn't it?

We had one once. Had to get rid of him though. When he was about 6 months old, he started chewing all of the drywall off of my walls. Poor guy had separation anxiety.
