I wish... Any forum members that have not posted at least 300 posts may not begin a thread unless it's in the help section, and or squadron section.
Just thought it may save skuzzy some trouble and give some relief?
Just in case this goes bad... :bolt:

spamming the boards to get post counts up

Well red, the problem is that some people join the BB after years of playing the game. They know whats going on, and how to act mature (usually).

Yea punish all new members and even old ones who dont post often for the behavior of one....

That's issue #1.
Jahawk brings up issue #2, spam.
Issue #3 revolves around folks who have been around the BBS for a LONG time and just don't post much. Take a look at that thread about people with the least amount of time or posts, based on really old join dates.
-1, despite good intentions here.
Wrongway has a valid idea, but look at how many people don't read other stickies...

Ah I see, so my low post count, prevents me from having a mature imput on the boards?
-1 though, I do understand where you are coming from, this is just not the right solution.
-
I think my first 300 posts were just typing IN. The next 300 were typing lol.

I propose an etiquette test, of sorts. Those that do not pass can not create an account.
"Question 1:
How should you respond to this post:
'ENY is hurting the game'
A.)Provide a reasoned opposition or proposition to the idea.
B.)Say "IN"
C.)Whine about "rubber bullets"
D.) :O :O :O :O :D :D :cry :P  :uhoh   :x  :old: :neener: :bolt: :rock :aok :noid :noid :noid :furious  :salute :rock  "

You forgot the most important option.
E. Don't reply!
-
To be honest, I don't post very much on the BBS anymore so i know what you mean. (I've played this game for 3+ years? I've lost count...) :old:
It's okay, I was expecting the responses. :D
P.S. Most of you new guys should stick around and read a bit before posting a thread.
-
lol, Chit, if the number of posts has anything to do with being able to have 'game wishes', then Krusty and his radioactive status would be defining this game.

Ive been around since november 2005 but only joined the BBS lasted december. I just lurked the bbs for awhile

Yeah, do you think those posts that bug/entertain us the most are going to be posted by guys who read the stickies? Our replies usually refer them to the trainers website or other threads. If they didn't read those to begin with a sticky is just going to be a waste of words.

But it would be there to be referred to just like the BB posting rules that nobody reads.
:huh

A BB newbie's first post might be an interesting and sensible one - so, no to any restrictions.
