Title: CH Products Question
Post by: AKcurly on January 07, 2002, 12:19:00 AM
Recently, I purchased a combatstick, pro pedals and pro throttle, all USB.  The equipment works great and the CH Control Manager is a super piece of software.

However, whenever I enter Aces High, I have to recalibrate the stick every single time.  It only takes 30 seconds, but it would be nice to avoid this task.  Is there something I don't know about?

I have the same setup and rarely have to recal. If I have to recal I have to do it in the control panel as well (first), and then recal in AH.  After that, it works fine for a while...   Great setup tho    :)

Bonden, look at this in the help section of the control manager: "This button allows for the calibration of the controllers connected to the Control Manager. Each device should be calibrated here once after it's first connected. Note that you should never try to calibrate these devices in the Game Controllers applet as Windows calibration will interfere with the operation of the Control Manager. You can use Game Controllers to test the configurations, but do not calibrate there."

I dont have to calibrate all the time, except when I move a trim wheel and things start to go out of whack.

When I first load a config I just have to exercise everything, and it works fine. No need to calibrate.

I only have to calibrate once, but every time I reboot I have to move all controllers to their extremes at some point before playing any games.
