very fun few hours earlier fighting SBDs vs Zeros. The no icons really makes it more fun for me. Some good clean fights in there, fun win or lose.

Fun last night Bat, but I can't agree about the complete no icons setup. Basically, in unzoomed view, a bandit within firing range is a few pixels across my screen. Now if I had TrackIR, I suppose I could pan my head about effectively with a ton of zoom dialed in and see okay, but I don't and one of my primary reasons for liking AHII is that you can look around OK with a hatswitch and don't need a lot of complex equipment. I think the 1K icon distance is alot better compromise between being able to do a surprise bounce and NOT simulate fighter combat between legally-blind pilots.  :aok

I am the complete opposite. I would rather see the aircraft itself at short range, not be focusing on a neon icon. Thats what I love best, the fact that I can have no icons and not be at a disadvantage because of it.

Sure was alot of fun the other night, I've been in the AvA more and more lately.
