Guys,
Don't you all wish you had a gun camera that only record a film when the is plane guns are fired..
I personally never to record my entire sortie whenever I get a chance to fly.
What's your taught on this guys..

I record all my flights well the good ones and take them on to ahfilmviewer and select gun cam and re-record the whole film with fraps at half speed, and take it into windows movie maker and edit it and add the effects of a guncamera here have a look

I guess some would like that. If I film I prefer to record how the fight develops as opposed to just the shots I take.

Can't recall the name of it but there was a Java applet that would take screen captures when you pressed a button on a joystick, it would even let you do some post-recording editing like making it black and white and adding scratches to "age" the recording. Used to use it in AW, WB and AH in the early years. End results were pretty cool, used to look like gun camera footage. Think the guy that made it was an old WB player.
ack-ack

I have one of my joystick buttons mapped for record, before I get in a fight (and lose) I hit the button. I then have the option to save the film at the end of the sortie if I care to do so.

for recording from ace's high film viewer i recommend Fraps but playing the film at x52 speed then speeding it up in windows movie maker by using speed-up double in the effects section. :salute

Well we could ask HTC to give us this type of recording capabilities that where available in WW2

It's the only way to fly to be in the top 10.
Question? why would you want to film a "pick and run" kill? :D
I also have a button mapped on my stick. Start as I engage, and stop when the fight is over. I always name them with a date and who the enemy was. Once a week I go through them and save the one I want and clear out those I don't.

I believe in a similar wish that was asked for a while ago, it was stated that this could potentially cause a stutter during game play much like taking screenshots while in flight does many times. I am pretty sure that this would possibly throw off a shot and may be the difference between getting that kill and overshooting him and getting an arse full of lead.
I can maybe see how you would want that for getting that perfect guncam shot for in a video, but as a learning tool I don't believe it would be of much use. Besides you can obtain an even better guncam shot from the filmviewer anyway since you are able to stop move the view around and time it yourself to get just the perfect shot.

Future HTC TV advertisements may want to include a few gun camera shots. The vid's from BulletVI are the coolist things I've seen in while.
Real nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
