Talk about downsizing...at least he doesn't have a mortgage and your house can be pulled behind your moving van.

Its a great idea.
heck, id hire this guy to build me a normal house. Just from looking at his house in the video you can see he does amazing stuff with wood and space management.

The plans for those little trailers are available. The company that drew them up wants a pretty peny for them, then you need a small trailer frame and running gear for the unit as well. Frankly, you can get more living and storage space using a small RV trailer at less cost.

I saw this earlier and though the same thing as Maverick. Mobile homes have been around for a while.

Notice there were no woman and no children. It's a lot easier to live small when all your space is all your OWN space.

Its a ridiculous and stupid idea...and designed to suck money out people who buy the whole climate change/carbon foot print nonsense..
The guy is a fraud too I would bet...he is selling shoe boxes to the suckers and his 'other house' I am sure is 'normal'...
I love the new 'green capitalists'..for the satire and irony that they are...the moment you dig and look under the hood:
"What is good for thee is not for me"...
I never cease to be amazed by folks who buy this bilge hook line and sinker...

The way that he put it in the video it sounds more like his original intent was to save money more than anything......

You confirm Barnum...except the cyclic nature of his proclamation was lacking in frequency as applied to Today...and anyone who bites on AGW nonsense
It appears as if his "every minute" qualifier would have to modified...
Not surprising as a gallon of milk 'then' is not a gallon milk 'now'
Inflation apparently is not restricted to monetary construct...

I get it now oneway. Sorry man I needed to rehydrate. I think cockpit temps hit 114 over the weekend and I flew for as much as I could. I certainly wasnt trying to insult you just saying I couldnt make out your intent.

Screw all the politics...
I think I would like living off the grid in a small efficient shelter that was cozy and functional. Spend most of my time out-doors with a bow or a rifle, or sitting by a campfire. Imagine, living like Daniel Boone for a few seasons. Yeah, I think I could like that a whole lot.

I agree. Too bad they didn't have a design like that in my Jersey studio. I had a little more space, but it wasn't nearly as cozy or functional. Same for my college dorm rooms.
-
I personally would rather have a tent or a nice bigger log cabin...there are many different ways to stay off the grid but this dude is pulling it down by the minute with that setup.

If I was alone maybe. I wouldnt put my wife in that. We have a small house but thats pushing it. Lil too much like a pioneer.
