Hi there Ive just signed up for the 2 week trial. I notice there's an awful amount of buttons and I dont really know which are the most important to put on my stick. Would someone out there who has a Similar Stick please e-mail me their sidewinder profile?.
Its running on the 3.02 profile software so it uses *.swf and not *.swa for profile extension.

They have a free trial thingie. This is a great addition to the "short-buttoned" sticks. Heck, it's a great addition, period, to any stick (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

That must be for the force stick. I have the latest profiler (3.02) and my Aces High profile is .swa. I have the Sidewinder Precision Pro 2, not the force, hence the difference I believe.
Anyway, the only reason I use the profiler at all is for the shift button. All of my other buttons work fine in AH, and I map them all in the AH stick mapping panel. Just as an FYI, here is how I have my stick mapped in AH:
Trigger: Fire all guns (I only fly .50 cal planes)
Button 2: Zoom
Button 3: Flaps Up one notch
Button 4: Flaps Down one notch
Button A: Up view
Button B: Damage list
Button C: Forward view (different from "default" view, I use it to check my instruments as a head-down view)
Button D: WEP
Now I use the profiler to map shift&button combos that don't show up in AH. I simply map the button to a keystroke I would use in AH. For example, I have shift D mapped in the SW profile as ' button. That's the key I mapped to "Check six" in AH, and it works fine. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) I mapped shift trigger to B on the keyboard, shift button2 to backspace, etc. It works pretty well.
Feel free to post here or email me at sconrad@hfx.eastlink.ca if you have any more questions or need some help. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I emailed you my profile. I havent used the stick in a couple weeks since i got my saitek combo so I kind of forget what is mapped where but i believe it goes like this
c: up view
D: WEP
B: flaps up
A: flaps down
shift C: head left
shift D: head right
shift C: dive flaps "i changed it from shift c to just c in ah keymapping setup"
button 3: RW push to talk" changed from T to F12
Button 4: zoom
Button 2 is fire secondary "mapped in game not profileing soft
Trigger: is just that also mapped in game not profileing softs
Shift 1: clipboard
Shift 3: move head up
Shift 4: move head down
Views are mapped in game, except up view "C"
Remember you hve to change dive flaps to C and push to talk to F12 for those buttons to work.
I tried a bunch of different setups and this worked best for me. Going from memory so I think the above is right.
One other note, this is a .swa file, so it will ONLY work if the stick is plugged in as a usb stick. It wont work plugged into the gameport. If windows sees your stick but you dont have a USB precision pro in the ms profileing software, uncheck poll with interupts and it should show then.
good luck

Ahh crap the one i sent you is for a Precision pro, not a force feedback. I dont think you can import it either (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif) but it will give you and idea as to what buttons other people "at least one (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)" are using.
Should read the title before the thread next time, my bad

The software will let you change it over . Just open it up then "save as" the other stick file .
