I'm looking for a lure that is arched with the eyelet about 1/2 from the nose and it has 2 sets of hooks. The nose is flattened out. You've told me what it was before but I forgot. I had them many years ago but my son left the tackle box at a lake. I would say it is a crank bait.
Thanks in advance.

Similar to that only has a different name. If I heard the name I would know it.

I believe you're describing my favorite lure....the "lazy ike".
The faster you reel, the deeper it goes. Stop reeling and it floats to the top.

Ding Ding Ding Winnnnnaaahhhhh!!! I honestly think they have been around forever, and no tackle box is complete w/o one. My dad passed a couple of years ago and i have his tackle box. He has one that has got to be from the mid 1950s.

Another similar lure is the Beno,it can be found in a jointed configuration with several joints.
Years ago I used to carve and paint my own,too easy to do,I even have made a few foam flies that look and work the same way. Frog pattern ones work great in back eddies on rivers!
