Title: new update, whats up?

My frame rate went down from constant 59-60 (except when flying thru smoke/flames) down to 35-45!! Using 512 textures, same resolution, and I used to use 1024 with hi res pack!! Anyone else having FR problems, or know how to correct this?  Using only bump map terrain, like usual.

Downloaded the new version yesterday, removed old one, installed fresh. Same thing: Frame rates vary from 25 to 60 depending if I look down or up. In the previous version used to have over 50 all the time.

Same with me - frame rate suddenly drops dramatically. It never used to.
