Title: Cockpit views with recorded films
Post by: Noah17 on July 23, 2010, 06:43:11 AM
I watched a recorded fight earlier this morning. I was using the F4u-1A.

When I tried to view from the cockpit as if looking through the gunsight I couldn't get the view right. It was like my head was halfway through the plane. I couldn't see the gunsight, only the reflector glass.  I saw part of the exhaust stacks, outside the plane and some other things.

Can that be fixed. I like to see the real inside the cockpit views so that I can judge my gunnery and how good or bad of an angle I took.

On some films the cockpit does not show the instruments, it shows the pilots head. (like the further away view)

Hi Noah17 and friends!

Try pressing Home, then f10, while in cockpit fwd view. That should fix it.

The "home F10" didn't work. Glad to hear the next release will get it.

Thanks
