Just bought a new Geforce3 Ti200 and its great  :)  Everything works fine, but now I have no sound.  I only hear PC speakers beep when a sound file is used.

System:

Mobo:  ESC K7S5A
AMD Athlon 1.2g
128 mb PC 2100 ram
Geforce3 Ti200
Avance AC97 sound card integrated w/ motherboard
-or-
Sound Blaster Live! Value

running windows xp too.  any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I also get this message:  

"A device ID has been used that is out of range for your system."

??

Disable the dos legacy driver.
 
(Disable in the Device Manager)

Well all is good now.  Turns out I must have bumped the sound card while installing the vid card.  Took it out, put it back in, bingo =]  There also was a small bit of dust that lodged itself in the heat sink fan for the processor.  Not only did I turn it on not knowing there was 0 rpm, but I left to the store for 20 minutes!  I came back and smelled something not good w/ a bsod on the monitor.  I quickly rescued it and threw it outside (much cooler) for a few minutes.  Whew thank cod I got back in time!  :cool:
