I've downloaded the hi res pack, which folder do I put it in?

It will default to installing in the proper place, if Aces High is properly installed before you run the HiRes installer.

just double click on the icon and it will run the installer.  

Once it is finished load up the game as normal and click video settings from the clipboard,  if it has the option to enable 2048 textures it has worked.
