Title says it all, right now we have a Russian plane set that is pretty much at both of the extreams, ie, we have the I-16 which is a pre war fighter, then at the other end, we have the La-7, arguably one of the best propeller driven fighter planes in WW2, we have two mid to late war yaks, and the mid to late war La-5FN , but If the MiG-3 was introduced to AH, it would finally fill the gap between EW and MW, I could also ask for the Yak-1's but as I said before, we have two yaks, so, with the addition of a MiG-3, plus two bombers, ie either IL-4, Tu-2, Pe-2 (maybe all three of them  :pray) the entire Russian plane set could be reasonably filled, giving you guys at HTC, much more time focusing on the other Japanese + Italian plane sets. I think lots of people will agree with my choices and hope you guys see where I am coming from with this wish, thanks for your time, and to everone else who reads this I can post some quick wiki stats on the plane right now, but It will take me a little more time to go through my soviet books and sort out the proper info from the exaggerated/inaccurate info.

 And remodel the Yak-9
-
				Mig-3,LaGG 3 would be awesome

The problem with the Mig 3 and the Lagg 3 is they are not very good at anything, even for early/mid war aircraft. They were unmaneuverable, climbed poorly and were not well armed. The I-16 may be slower, but it turns and rolls well and has the option of two 20mms which gives it a role, even in the LW MA.

The best of the Soviet fighters of the early war period was the Yak-1 and this was also available in greater numbers than the Lagg and Mig. So it would be more useful from a scenario POV and was a more maneuverable plane too. I'd suggest filling out the Yak planeset, adding the Yaks 1, 3 and 7 to go with updated Yak 9s. There would be a fair bit of crossover between them too in terms of 3D shapes, flight models and artwork.

"The best of the Soviet fighters of the early war period was the Yak-1"

Which would make a great ride for any lady pilots out there in AH Land - top-scoring female pilot Lilya Litvak flew one.

				+1 to the Mig-3

				Mig-3,LaGG 3 would be awesome

+1 To more russian planes  :aok
-
A plane doesn't have to be good at all aspects though, i mean....look at the A6M2.......All it has goin for it is its turning capabilities.

We need more diversity of russian planes is all.

 +1 :aok
-
				Thats a beautiful plane! :O

-
But the problem is only 1 50. There was an option to add to gondolas with 1 50 each under the wings. +1

Also maybe a Yak-3, the Luftwaffe told their pilots to avoid at all costs fighting with yak-3s.

+1, the MiG-3 would be a cool plane to add :aok

By the time the Yak-3 was in service, almost all of the good German pilots were either captured or dead, or on other fronts, and we already have the La-7, which if flow well is one of, if not the best prop plane in the game under 10k, and adding the MiG-3 would also give the VVS a plane that actually does well at altitude, but I am no means saying that the Russian plane set will be complete with just the MiG and a couple of bombers. Why I think the MiG is the best candidate for the nest Russian fighter is because like I said before, its one of, if not the only series of fighter planes that the Russian set doesn't have right now, we have the I-16, Yak, and La fighters, the MiG would complete all of the series, and also be the best bridge for EW to MW for Russia
