Title: AH music
Post by: Rattler on July 28, 2010, 04:52:09 PM
It looks like I am the only one that hears some music playing while i'm on.I have never heard it before and was wondering if anyone else hears the soft music.I've lowered both music slides and nothing happens  any suggestions?

What sound pack arew you using?

Rangersounds has a nice music play when A base is under attack.

Instead of "Base under attack" it plays some nice music.

Yes i do have rangers sound pack now that i think about it. odd thing is that I've never heard it before.hmm maybe because the base alert siren is back to normal I'll try lowering the volume on that slide and see if it works.

I still can't find a way to get the "Base Under Attack" lady to STFU since the recent "update".

If memory serves you should be able to go into the new "advanced" tab and find the "warning" volume slider down at the bottom and turn it all the way down.

someone posted a sound file that had no sound, just find it and use that as the warning file.

I too have the same problem.  I use the Ranger sound pack and was able to turn it all the way down until the lnew patch. Now even if I adjust the music slider all the way to 0 it still plays.

yup the reason i never heard it before is because when i got the ranger sound pack i remember lowering the warning volume long before the ranger sound pack.so when i first heard the music i was freaking out lol.

Panzer ace just lower the warning slide in the advanced tab it work for me.  :aok

Due to fresh install of the new version the lady came back, but since I wanted to give the original sounds a new chance, I just put a sound file named "warning" into the "sounds" folder. Nothing else there. Now I can hear that music again, took it from Ranger's pack.

The music slider of the game is on 0, I dislike background music while trying to figure out what all the whines and roars in my cartoon plane mean. I suppose the real WW2 pilots didn't have entertainment in their headphones, either. OTOH I guess it wouldn't hurt to have some wartime music playing when in tower or hanger.

There has always been a "title music" tab or file, or whatever. I have never heard AH title music, lol. Am I missing something?

I use my media player low and and run it at random to play my music in the backround, sounds good through the headset and is real nice on long flights

I have a Bose system in my F4U-1A.  :airplane:

I actually run windows media in the background with music.  It actually improves my SA!  :t
