Title: offline areana settings shore battery

Which settings controls the shore battery hardness. Right now all my hardness settings are at 1.0 but it just takes a few cannons to destroy the SB. Everything else seems to be normal.


 Also is there a setting for how long bomb/shell craters stay up?

While on the subject, is there an up-to-date list of all the settings and what they do?

1.0? Seems to me that you are just looking at "Arena Settings". Did you check "Object settings" too? The SB should have a hardness of 0.3906

And as far as I know there is no way to change display time for craters.

These are the normal hardness settings for all objects in the main game. (And I don't know which one of these is the SB ;) )


In the Object settings menu, the SB is either "Gun Bat Armor" or "Hard Gun Bat", not sure which one it is right now.

thanks for the input. could it be there is a bug in the shore battery for it to be destroyed so easily.

what value is the hardness set in "object settings" for those gun batteries? Or did you accidentally change gun lethality in "Arena Settings"?

Just go in obj settings and arena settings and click DEFAULT.

well I learned something today, was not even aware of the object settings.

But any way here is a screen shot of how it is set with default which was where I had it to start with. also have arena settings to default

I went in and changed the gun batt armored to 3.9063 and still one blast from A6m destroyed it.

When you change the setting it does not take affect until you come back in. Also you might want to check out the ammo lethality.

There are a lot of things you can do with the settings.

made no difference.


Just to check my lethality settings which are at default I strafed the SH and then the VH. SB down one burst no effect on VH. So since VH takes less than SB to destroy I am sure it's not the lethality.


Would anyone be willing to try it themselves and see what they get.
