Title: SAPP comes to town...or how to visit on a wing and a prayer
Post by: Guppy35 on August 06, 2010, 01:53:02 AM
I finally had a chance to drop in and visit one of the new towns and I must say i was impressed.  I thought in the hopes of inspiring others to take the time and see the sights, that I would post some pictures of my visit.

Clearly from the air, things look nice.  With no fuel left, the town looks even better, in particular the road

I made sure to do everything I could to stay off the finely manicured grass, lining up nicely on the road.

Clearly HTC needs to invest in road maintenance as I did seem to find a pothole.

I found the street signs to be a problem so I bounced over them.  Sadly I didn't take into account the big tree.
I hope there is no fine for scratching it.

Thankfully the town buildings are built well as I didn't leave a mark when I left much of my 38 behind.

I then spotted a restaurant and decided I was hungry.

It was then time to find a place to park.

Things were quiet so I parked across the street

I figured I'd stop in at church afterwards to give thanks for another landing I walked away from

What no fire, both props are intact, and you're plane is right side up.  :neener:

Really I was expecting more from you.

Might as well just start watching the travel channel.   :noid

Dan...

The skytrains made it in last night. The new blenders were on board. Have your crew chief send over someone to get yours.

I contacted everyone else already. I figured here is the best way to contact you since your usuall laying in a field somewhere.
