Roger I noticed on another thread about Hurricane research well here is one that I thought might interest you since we have no RAAF aircraft skins of this type & also that it is a desert scheme.

First three seem to be best candidates I also have the plane # from the site on the (A) aircraft 3rd pic shown.

is the 3rd one down in desert camo? the sand and brown colours?
we not got a volks filter but everything else would be ok if we can be sure of the colours

It looks to me like the last one is the "spinnach and sand" camo, where it is more green then brown, and I also really hope they put a Vokes filter on the II-C when they update it :)

I may have to go to the Airforce museum this weekend & see what I can find on that in the OSPREY book section. I have looked for books on this squadron & sadly not a lot available as they were printed some time back.

Definitely would be a neat addition to the collection of Hurri skins we have in game. I do recommend waiting for the Hurri plane remodel first before investing the time in skinning an RAAF bird.

Well nothing I could find on this squadron at the Museum that would say what the camo would look like. This unit was based in Eygypt at the time & all the other squadrons that I could find with profiles of in this area of combat had the tan & sand paint scheme on Hurricanes that I could find.
Also Roger here is the info on the aircraft#.
