Probably a highly contested topic between fans...
I wasn't for years, laugh if you want but Christian upbringing kept me away until the early 90's, and I have been a fan since.
Over the years I learned a lot about them, learned to play guitar and really appreciated the simplicity,
So I love "Are You Ready?", "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution", "For Those About to Rock", "It's a Long Way to the Top", and some others... but I keep going back to one of the first songs I heard as a teenager from a dubbed tape (music piracy was invented by the dual cassette player).
From "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" but I first heard it on the "Who Made Who" soundtrack: "Ride On" has got to be the best IHMO. Bon Scott on vocals, just a smooth jam if you could ever put those words together with AC/DC.
Yeah Angus is great, but I'll put Malcom against any rhythm player in the world, the most solid, in-time, powerful rhythm player I have heard.

"Thunderstruck" or "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution."
-
Highway to Hell. First time I heard that song, I died because of that awesome riff. Bon Scott at his finest.

Thunderstruck.. the ultimate football song.
Although when Squid and I were headed for the train to take him back to his incubators house for the week we were singing 'Highway To Hell' so that earns major points.

I couldn't begin to pick just one. But "The Jack" comes to mind. :rock

:rock :rockI almost got sucked into this thread but then I remembered. Oh yeah, they are ALL the SAME. :x :x

My band used to play this one years ago.
We'd announce: "anybody wanna hear some AC/DC?? They'd go nuts.
Then you'd get the blank stare when you started playing it.
I think its one of the best songs they've ever done! :rock

That may be true... but they are the third best selling band in rock 'n roll history... behind only the Beetles and Floyd.
As for me, I love em-
Rocknroll ain't noise pollution
TNT
Thunderstruck
Highway to Hell
Hells Bells
Whole Lotta Rosie
I don't know if I can pick just one song as a favorite.
-
THUNDERSTRUCK! :aok
-
Acca Dacca :rock All of them is a favorite.
Its awesome these guys survived the Hair Band days and like Dio stayed true to themselves and their sound. ACDC is unique, nothing compares.

"For those About To Rock"
This was my first concert ever. I could not find a good enough vid that shows you the percussion that you get from those cannons. And the concert I went to it was a 21 "gun" salute. You can feel it through your whole body.
I have been in a room sleeping when a percussion grenade was thrown in, and I hate to admit this but I did actually s**t myself :uhoh That percussion grenade wasnt even close to those cannons.
Just for the record... they had the wrong apartment  it was the crackheads next door they were after

Funny how most people think Bonn Scott was AC/DC's first singer. He was second. But IMO the best.
