I still don't understand the reasoning behind removing the H2H feature. I'm sure $$ had something to do with it but honestly there are times that a small H2H flight is just more fun than getting on-line and dealing with all the "personality conflicts" that have become so prevalent.

I can see you haven't been a "heavy forum user" so here's the basic gist. H2H will not be returning, there were too many issues with people doing things they shouldn't and causing problems. What is in the works is something similar but implemented in a way that HTC can maintain control over things people shouldn't be messing with. There is no word as to when this will happen but HiTech has let it be known that it is a work in progress sort of thing.

The kiddies couldn't play in the kiddie pool and pissed in it. HiTech, not wanting to clean up after the little H2H freeloading brats, took away your toys since you guys didn't know how to play with them. Now, when we do get H2H back it's going to be for paying subscribers only to keep you freeloading H2H kiddies from pissing in the pool again.

The only reason why I missed H2H were all the small custom maps, especially the racetracks.

It had nothing to do with "freeloading" and everything to do with a stagnating festering breeding ground for negativity and a mini-community that was condoning hacking the AH game code.
Any other arguments are just wrong or misinformed.
Also HTH may make a comeback but in a different way (run HTC side rather than run on the host machine). They simply have had other things on their plate.
