This weekend I ran a drainage ditch to all of our rear down spouts. It required just under 250' of 4" plastic pipe. BTW do not depend on the "Call before you dig" service. They gave me the go ahead that there was nothing in the backyard. Well I found the "Cable line" (had to splice it back together), water line for the sprinkler system and it's control wires (again had to splice it all back together). I did expect to hit a few of the pipes going to the sprinkler heads. Here are the pics.

You use a trenching machine? Rental?

Most call before you dig services only look for major utilities like water main, gas main, major power lines, etc and not every pipe or water or wire running through your dig site.
That is one heck of a project you got there.

Yea, way to lazy to dig by hand. Not to mention to old.
