I wonder if anyone can help me with this. I'm new to AH and can't seem to get this durn TM to work right.
Setup is TM topgun stick, TM attack throttle and TM pedals. With the attack throttle TM has a really good keymapping program that's always worked great for me before.
Problem I'm havin now is I can't figure out how to make Joystick button 4(the pinky button) work to give me the 8 way views.
All the years I've used it in "that other flight sim" pushing forward on the hat gives an up forward view. In AH that does nothing.
Left plus b4 used to give a rear 3/4 view, back plus th b4 gave a back and up view, Etc. I can't make it do that in AH.
Anyone know how to make it work?
Thanks,

In ah the "up" on the hat does a foreward view, and unless you have save changed your foreward view (F10) it is exactly the same as the default foreward view...so when you use it the view doesent change, just remap it to foreward-up.

Therein lies the problem sir. I can't figure out how to remap it to up foreward view. On my TM stick foreward/up as well as back/up, left/back,right /back, etc. is obtained by hitting the pinkie button(B4) on the joystick. That button doesn't seem to function in AH.
I know I'm probly not explaining my problem very clearly. Damn , this is frustrating.

Sounds like you want the pinky button to trigger the UP view or number pad 5 . As in pinky + 8 = Up forward view and on and on .
That shouldn't be a problem , use your program to set to 5 or make it a direct x button and map it in the setup in AH .
They have help pages on their web site about maping keypresses etc and the hat views to the pov hat in setup .
