I prefer the Mi24 hind, as sometimes when shooting missiles in hover the harrier will suck in the exhaust from the missile and stall the engine.

i could see where that could be a problem

Remember in the late 80s when Pepsi did the points that you could get stuff, and the had a Harrier jet that was one million points. If i am not mistaking, they really did not have one and a guy acutely got the point and took them to cout for false advertising.
-
Only a third of the price of a good P-51D also
-
If I bought a warbird I'd like a p38. Trike gear is easy for us low-time pilots.

What is there like 7 airworthy p-38s but I have thought about the same question and the p-38 would be my top choice as well. It's purty...

No nose wheel steering though. That'd take a little getting used to.

If I were to own a warbird, it would be either the:

OR

Despite my love for the 38, the Jug would be my first choice, if I had one.

why is the chevron logo on it
-
£100 should be enough?

Has both chevron and texico logo. Most likely they contribute money in building the P-47.

I would hate to have to figure out how much more money I would have to spend to be able to insure it and fly it. Where in the heck can you get harrier training any way.............. :bolt:

Would have.. Could have....
Would've.... Could've....

I'm sorry.. This is a little bit of an irritant/pet peeve of mine seeing that English isn't even my first language..
-
Is there some kind of special endorsement you would have to get to fly the harrier?

You would think so.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago... guess the first couple of times of listing it, didnt go so well...

You couldn't insure it because you have to have a certain amount of time in that type of aircraft. The only person that would buy that is a really rich ex harrier pilot. I dont think that there to many of those in the world.
