Post by: 33Vortex on August 17, 2010, 07:12:12 AM: Oh yeah... we weren't the only ones doing it that day though. We rented a bus together with some friends and 15 of us jumped that day. A very unique experience.

wait, they made him a statue there? (is there another freddie besides the singer?)

he lived nearby (as did david bowie, charlie chaplin, peter sellars etc etc) and queen used mountain studios in montreux (its their engineer's place). theres also a statue of chaplin as the tramp in vevey near the waterfront, its tradition to put a fresh flower in his hand when you walk past :)
