I did a little exparamenting with case cooling yesterday and i found out something that is rather obvious yet easy to overlook.
Your system will be cooler if you have your fan blowing OUT of the case insted of in..WHY?
well with the fans blowing IN you get air circulating WITHIN the case, which is bad because what that means is that the heated air inside is not leaving, its just being blown around inside..
HOWEVER! when you have a fan sucking it draws the heated air OUT of the case and sucks the cooler outside air IN the case...that way there is no inner-case currents...
So basically having a fan blowing air OUT of your case is better than having one blowing air IN. because if air is being blown out that means FRESH COOL air is being sucked in from ALL OVER your case, anywere there is a gap for air to flow in from it will..
If you have the typical system where you have one fan in the lower front and one fan in the upper back below the powersupply, set the front one to blow IN and the back one to blow OUT, that way you get a nice current from OUTSIDE>>>ACROSS THE BOARD>>>AND OUT THE BACK, NO hot air trapped inside yer case (which is what would happen with 2 blowing IN.
oh well just a tidbit of advice...really useful if you are a overclocker.

Or you can have multiple fans, with some sucking and some blowing, with the intakes low in the case and the exhausts high in the case. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
I like to think of it as "flo-thru" ventilation.

Simple, always make sure your Power supply fan blows out of your computer. and have atleast 1 case fan sucking in.
i have 2 fans in, and 2 fans out.
