I sent an email to trainers@flyaceshigh.com (per the "contact a trainer" page), but haven't gotten a replay, so I'm guessing perhaps that address is obsolete.
I played for a few months, back in 2001-2002, so I remember some things about the sim. Obviously a lot has changed in the years since I've been away.
I've been fooling around a bit in the MA, and a little in the TA, trying to shake off the rust, and for the most part I've got my controls setup pretty well. I can fly the airplanes acceptably, but my ACM/BFR and gunnery are pretty crap-tacular (and this isn't necessarily because I quit playing... I was never very good, although I did manage a kill now and then!). I feel like my SA is pretty good, at least in terms of working the views to see what's going on around me, and then watching out the back of my plane when I invariably end up with someone on my six, who will mercilessly send me back to the tower :).
Anyway, I'm looking for a trainer (or two) to help me evaluate where I am, and then to help me improve. My schedule varies a bit, week to week but generally I can find some time in either the late afternoon or evening most days during the week, and then on weekends anytime (although times may vary, depending on what's going on).
Thanks in advance!

Welcome back :D
I know exactly how you feel right now. The trainers will get to you shortly I'm sure. They're all top notch.

Forgot to mention: I'm in central time zone (Texas).

DFW here sir

Hi Roadblck
I'm usually in the TA weekend mornings and various weekday early evenings Eastern time.

Unfortunately the trainer e-mail isn't the greatest. Posting on here will get your best response most of the time or PM a particular trainer. I'm normally available weekday evenings around 9 central time. Also let us know your aircraft preferences as well, some of us are better at some then others, I'm sure we can knock all the rust off in a few sessions.
:salute

I've been flying several different planes, trying to pick one to stick with. The Spit 16 seems to be pretty well balanced (sure climbs and rolls a lot better than any of the spits I remember from '02). Any particular trainer I should seek out for advice on this bird?

Any of the trainers will be able to help you Roadblck.

Soda's evaluations are very helpful in getting the best out of a particular ride as well.

Thanks Muzzy, there is some good stuff there :).
As far as trainers, I haven't had much luck finding any non-busy trainers online. Either there is no one on when I check, or if there is anyone around, they are helping other folks. I should have some time this afternoon/evening, after 430-5pm Central time, if anyone thinks they may be around.

Roadblck I'm not a trainer but I might be able to help you out. If you see me in the TA and can't find a trainer give me a shout. I will help you with what I can.
