Today I sat in the courtroom, with family and friends of Kristy Appleby, who on Feb 10, 2009 - was shot down in the prime of her life by this evil woman. Justice (here on earth) has finally been done, although the sentence is not near long enough for those close to this case, but it is somewhat of a closure. Knowing that she will receive her final judgment when she stands before God is all we need to believe in. May God Bless her family and loved ones, may the healing begin.

Truthfully I think if you kill someone and it wasn't instigated and wasn't self defense, the person that did it should just be killed.

I believe that the should suffer a little first before you throw the juice or needle to them and even then I think they should go out the same way that they inflicted. Something along the lines of paper cuts all over the body especially in some strategically placed locations for a male, maybe even a female too. Followed by a good cleansing with rubbing alcohol to make sure they don't get infected you know. Yes I have thought of this and yes I have come up with some twisted stuff with my friends, but this is only for use on those bottom feeders of our society.

Umm . . .
The two women had run-ins before, but Appleby's protective order against Arcos didn't qualify under Texas law at the time.
Sounds like "the law" had been involved before . . . and nothing happened . . . so why exactly are you trying to blame the victim?

the court sysytem is all mesed up in the US. ur told to put ur hand on the bible and swear to tell the truth yet... the court allows 2 guys to get married n adopt a baby n raise em. <totally wrong IMO>. a human killing another human is wrong very wrong and the killer shud get sent to jail. jails nowadays r too nice i think. send all criminals to a remote island in alaska where they cant escape, let them fend fer themselves no roofs over their head make their own get their own food own water own everything n if they do try to escape, theyd drown. Tupac i had one of my best friends who got killed by a drunk driver few yrs back, the driver got only 8 months in jail and hes out n about n has a good job pays more than mine, think he makes $28 an hr what BS. <S> tupac sorry fer ur loss bud

Only thing I don't agree with what you said is that if you kill someone and your defending yourself, you shouldn't go to jail. Now idk if you didn't mean it that way but I am just saying, if someone breaks into my home, I will not flinch to blow your chest open with my shotgun, you will get ONE warning. "Get on your knees and pray", if you don't and take one step to me you are DEAD. And I know when someone is in my house because if anyone my dog doesnt know is here, (the pitbull) will bark and go crazy, which is when I grab my gun and go downstairs. :aok

The only problem with killing murders quickly is that sometimes the innocent are convicted of murder. I think there would be a lot more people trying to set someone up if they knew the person they framed wouldn't have a proper chance to defend themselves. I think the system we have now is pretty close to as good as it can get for a country of our size with the freedoms we enjoy.

I completely agree and would account for making sure it was the killer.

There are too many "rotting" in prison. I'd imagine after awhile you get used to the life and Im willing to bet many are happy with life as opposed to death. That said, every courtroom should have a courtyard out back with a floor drain and a hose. In cases where there is no doubt, sentence them to death, take them out back and save the taxpayers alot of money.

i was under the influence that we keep people alive in prison because killing them would be the "easy way out", but putting them in a room with nothing to do for the rest of there life would be more mental anguish on em as the victims family have to deal with....though it is real expensive. :confused:

If an ex-boy/girlfriend approaches you probably a good idea to call the cops and let them sort it out.
