To all you FSX lovers, this is going to be the next big thing probably: http://www.microsoft.com/games/flight/
There's a teaser video and if that's ingame we're looking at photorealistic flight.
-
I thought they did away with their whole flight department some time back?
-
Get Adobe Flash player
This page requires Flash Player version 10.1.52 or higher.
I've updated 4 times now. :furious
Edit: watched it on another site...my comp will never play that.
-
My comp can barely run the video. The game must be murderous on FR.
-
wow looks fantastic, now how come they can't make it a fight sim like AH lol
-
I wonder if that is actual gameplay or a prerendered movie?
-
Oh wow. I can run FSX maxed but I don't know about that one. Looks like a pc killer.
-
Looks like they're coming back Ghost. They are also making an online version of Age of Empire

Games for Windows LIVE... not much of a video but you can see it on Youtube.
-
umm worst vid ever but great graphics
-
Yea, the trailer vid sort of sucked. Why the tilted viewport? Made me feel like I was flying with one of my less talented students who forgot all about that rudder trim thing.
-
I vote for pre-rendered.
-
its performance will b better than fsx... just like 04 was to 02... 02 and fsx are stepping stones to new technics and codes within the game...
-
I vote for pre-rendered.
Nah not really, the sea is nice but there's little other detail to render than the water and the biplane.
-
I vote for pre-rendered.
Def pre-rendered.

I wonder if Micro$ofts take on this is: "We'll make the game's hardware spec outrageous, then everyone will have to buy a new PC and we can cash in on the OS sales too".
I know, I'm a cynic. :D

That was the previous BM when the upgrade cycle was every 2 years.
