I think you need to start recycling your newspapers and magazines :)
Amazing isn't it. Love buying computer gear only to find it's 10% cheaper by the time I open the box. I remember not to long ago when ram at $50 a meg was a fantastic deal! Just got two 256 stick (512 mb)from crucial for about $130. Too bad the automobile & housing industries don't follow the computer industry pricing structure :)

And you would have to pick one of the worst systems Tandy ever shipped :)
I worked there when that sorry system shipped. The chipset had more errata pages from Intel than War and Peace.
I remember when the Model I, loaded up with 4MB of ram was about 4 grand...lol 4Mhz Z80, B&W monitor.. :)

"reflections of ... the way life used to be ..."
Ah yesss, the Z80, the chip I first learned to program on :D
" ... as time goes by ..."
Guess this will not mean much without the orignal soundtracks, but the older guys will prolly get it. ;)

What a DEAL!! :D Such a steal at only $8499, add on a mouse and monitor and well probably only be talking about $9000.
And today you can probably pick one of those up at Goodwill for $10, and they'll even throw in the mouse and monitor. ;)
(Hmmm, that might be able to run win95. Lets load up AH and marvel at a .2 fps slide show.)
