FROM THE FRONTLINES:
It was a seesaw battle. An allied counter attack gave them early advantage, but they were unable to stop the German Blitzkrieg.
Despite a valiant defense of key airfields in sector 9.11, US forces were overwhelmed by superior numbers and have fallen back to France.
As of midnite cst the tally was Rooks 23 airfields 13 v-bases for a total of 59 points, Knights 25 airfields 13 v-bases for a total of 63 points.
Allies want desperately to keep their foothold in France and retake their lost territory.
Axis wants to push the Allies into the sea.

:salute both Allies and Axis. It seems that it was a close one, only 4pts separated the victory :rock

Yep, Rooks were ahead, but Knights took just enough bases before the midnight deadline.
