If possible, I would like to see Attack Damage posted in addition to just kills when landing at the end of a run.
For example, it would post on two lines (as applicable)--- one line for the damage done to objects, and one line for 2+ kills. Basically it would look exactly the same as if you had landed the sortie as a bomber.

I dont have a problem with this epecially if the sortie showed damages regardless of the score being 0 or not. I rather like the idea actually.

It would be neat to see just how much damage a guy could land in a Mossi, 110, or other such designated ground pounder. :D

I just landed an attack sortie the other day and realized it didn't show it. I honestly thought it did before that :rolleyes:

you guys talking about damage to your own plane or to the eny?
either way, there's already too many system messages and it is harder and harder to read all the non-sense funny stuff on 200.

Here is an idea you probably dont know about. ".squelch 6" which turns off all kill messages.

it's a bump to an old thread that got nowhere. if you do this then majority of sorties landed will result in a system message. kind of silly.

With bombers there is a threshold to reach before your score is displayed. I'm sure same would be true with attack planes.

i have landed with something like 400 points in a b29. threshold is like 1.

I guess I don't see the issue with having attack damage posting and taking up text buffer space...
- It would still only be 0.001% of the text buffer that is taken up by Midway on channel 200 on a daily basis. ;)
- You can always squelch channel 6 to not see any of the system messages, bomber points, kills, etc.
Why not give the option for each person to decide the data they would like to see... Just like we currently have the choice to detune channel 200 or mute system messages.

it doesn't do anything to improve the game, all it does is make your name pop out there for other people to see in hope they will look at you like "wow i see that guys name alot, he must be good" I was kinda annoyed when they updated the game and put the Bomber damage points in the chat box when u land a sortie. HTC could use this time elsewhere were the gave actually needs improvements.
