Title: A little slice of history on an otherwise forgettable night

A clean, pure #400.

Pujols is the first player to have reached this mark within their first 10 seasons in the Majors. The only player to do it in fewer plate appearances? Some guy named Ruth (154 game seasons meant fewer plate appearances each season). Now wouldn't it be something if he brought home the Triple Crown in the same year he reaches this milestone?

You know something funny? The only place his name EVER comes up in connection to performance enhancing drugs is from moronic statements like this looking for anything they can to take away the accomplishment.
