Title: Sick of it!
Post by: kcfarris on August 27, 2010, 01:10:15 PM
I have been bumped out of the MA way to many times this month. When it happens I try to get back in and guess what, I see the cap is 100 with 193 inside. It seems to happen all the time, especially when I up a 262 or 163. Do you know how long it takes a crappy pilot like me to earn perks in a fighter!

Who are you blaming for this?

I would suggest you perform some computer checks / background processes things like Java updating.   If you run a tight machine then run a pingplotter to the HTC servers.  If it has lots of packet loss then contact your ISP.

I'm sure Skuzzy would like to have control of the internet but unfortunately it doesn't fall under his responsibility.

Not to he rude but if you are a crappy pilot why would you up a 262?

You don't climb the montain because it is there, u climb it because you traind yourself to conquer it.

I loled, so its a plane that basically you are untouchable in, no one can catch you and you have 4 30mm cannons in the nose and why would this be difficult? There is virtually zero risk aside from your own poor flying.

Why not climb it because it is there? I don't have an issue with that. While you are training and preparing I have been up and over. Besides, what does a mountain and a 262 have in common, Sheesh!

Exactly, and he said he was a crappy pilot, so there is risk.  I mean it's his choice, but it's not like just anyone can jump in a 262 and be untouchable, if you go into it with that mentality you'll find yourself in trouble very quickly.

When I up a 262, the mountain and I tend to have a common location after I slam into the side of it.  Other than that, not much.

Uh, yeah you do. Why else would you train yourself to 'conquer' the mountian other than desire to climb it? I'm a crappy, self taught pilot who can't hit the ground if I was aiming at it. Yet I still find myself in I16's, 109E's and F's, and 190A5's. None of which would fall under the 'EZ mode' category.

None of those planes fall under the "difficult" or even "slightly difficult" category either.

I blame no one. I should have said that, my apologies to anyone who may have felt blamed. I was venting, not calling anyone out. In fact I meant to say that no response was needed from HTC. Sorry guys, Its very hot  today and my A/C is on the fritz.:headscratch: :o :bolt:

Just get a medium to high eny plane and do some utility work, town, ack, pork, and shoot some other planes down.  You'll build perkies up fast enough.

I am quite possibly the worst 262 pilot man had ever seen. I cant shoot in it, cant fly into it without slamming my wings into trees, and cant land the darn things, no matter what I have left on it. Because my gunnery is so embarassing with the 262, I often find myself strafing GVs since they move so slow and cant dodge my 30mms. End results are usually me faceplanting and kissing the cartoon earth. :rofl

too bad the hurri2c isnt 30 eny anymore. it really made perk farming cake.

anyways even a noob can farm some decent perks with a mossie. youll be disco'd in another 262 in no time.

No, no bagrat, the ultimate perk farmer is the 110C. 4000 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition (aprox. 1000rds of .50 cal's worth of damage) and 2 20mm cannon means that its perfect for vulches. Low speed means a longer firing run.

Well for perk foraging (not farming...foraging is harder) the C.205 has been getting good press lately, and those russian birds have good eny value.

Me, I just want enough to fly my C-Hog every now and then.

I like P47d11 personally and prefer to forage for perks with fighters rather than farming for them. For bomber perks however I have quite the green thumb in Bostons or JU88s.

I take pride in the amount of 262s that I have lost and in the various ways that Ive lost them! Anyone can auger a 38 or a 109 but it takes a special kind of suck to crash the most Jets. Now in a 163 I prefer target fixation and collisions as the best way to showcase the magnitude of my sukdness. :x :joystick: :airplane:

kcfarris, if you want bomber perks (almost useless IMO), try using the B5N off of CV's, and stukas to kill ships (or if its an undamaged one, you kill most of the guns).

I was playing with the D11 in DA last night (usually fly N for every mission, quit the 11 when the new art came out) I was trying it with the pilot zoomed all the way into the gunsight....once you get used to it, you can get all sorts of shots that were previously obscured by the cowling...might try it in MA next camp

I haven't flown anything with 0.50's or hispanos in a while, and I must say I really like their ease of use. IMO, most allied planes are easy mode for their guns if nothing else gives them that label.
