On the final three days of Battlefield Europe, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, we will be posting attack and defend missions, one of each for each side in the afternoon starting at 4pm cst 16:00 arena time and again in the evening at 8pm cst 8:00 arena time.
The mission waypoints will be timed so that the defending force has a more than reasonable chance to intersect the attacking force.
The attacking force will be choosing their own ceiling and hard deck and the defending force would do well to split into a couple of different altitude ranges to more easily act as scouts to spot the enemy force.
For those who haven't flown these type of missions in the main arena, the instructions follow:
Be ready at least a few minutes prior to mission launch time.
Select "missions" on the clipboard
Make note of both the mission start times and the current arena time. Once you join a mission, you will need to wait in any tower for it to launch. If you up another flight after joining, you will be kicked from the mission.
Choose your mission and your flight and select join.
At mission start time, you will automatically spawn to the designated field and runway in the selected plane with the designated load out.
Selecting "My Flight" on the clipboard map will show you the route of your mission ending at the designated target.
A mission radio channel is available from the radio dropdown menu for in mission communication.
Even if there is only one pilot on the mission roster, the mission will launch. There is no guarantee of a populated opposing mission or the numbers of defenders or attackers you will meet, but the missions will be posted for those who wish to try them.
Have fun.

Interesting twist for the AVA, Jimson. Looking forward to seeing it in action! :salute

I was thinking it might give folks specific times to gather, and it's kind of cool to just make a selection and automatically launch in a mission.

Yeah, agree. I won't be able to make either time on Monday. But, should be able to do Tue and Wed. Keep up the great work! :salute

Larry's missions used to bring in good numbers. I hope these do the same.
