Do the crashes still occur if you use only the Creative sound device for sound after disconnecting and restarting without the headset?
<S>
no sure, I always use headset this late at night, had headset for about 6 months, no problem. also crashes This just started today. Game would lock 1/2 the time the other it would just crash saying it had stoppoed working.

-
mmm... this was weird. I was gv'ing in a t34. shut down engine. couldnt get it to start, no damage, didnt get hit. i finally just landed. relog, 1/2 the sounds would not play. replaced them loged and game crashed again. unisntalled the game and d/l again, see what happens.
semp
edit: did a new install, nothing changed, game keeps on crashing. I noticed now that everytime, i quit once i get to the windowed options and close it, game will stop working. it happens every time. changed all options to play as administrator, nothing. I did notice that most of the crashes happened when i was on auto and not really doing anything, for a min or two then the crash would happen.

Known issue... Skuzzy is working on it.
You are not alone.

Yeah noticed the other thread last night :). Lost all my films re installing ah, tempted to use system restore to get them back.
Semp
-
"System Restore" (as in the tool provided with Windows that creates System Restore Points) doesn't do data files. It just keeps system state and whatever it considers to be necessary system files.
(And often just enough of those to will a allow roll back.)
