You mean processor clockspeed?
Well, I have currently 378 MHz Celeron, originally 300MHz. It was running at 450 MHz until recently when it started to act unstable so I was forced to lower the clock speed.
I ordered new CPU and motherboard yesterday, AMD Thunderbird 1400/266 and Asus A7V. I also ordered equipment for watercooling so I think I might be able to push it up to 1600 - 1800 MHz speeds :)
When you uprage, upgrade enough!

366 Celeron OC'd to 550.

P166 here, and AMD450

P3 at 500 mhz here.

more or less what i was trying to do was get an idea of how many ppl actually play this game on a 500mhz cpu or less. I know my 500mhz cpu is just barely holding on.

My PIII 600 manages fine, till it's low and over a dmaged base. Then forget it.
Mad, you should win an award for that :)

Celeron 566mhz here. works pretty good. except the mouse pointer is kinda glithcy/slow

I've got a PII 400 Mhz fully tuned up as best I can and get 35 to 50 FPs online and 18 to 20 in smoke. I run in 32 bit 1024x768 with a Geo2 card. No chit.
However I have been studying the purchase of a barebones system because I like all the other stuff I have...

Jochen, I hope you meant A7V133 or A7V266. :)

Celeron 500 here (which I can't clock  ) - running 1024 x 768 32bit and getting ok rates (20 to hi 30's) but have to o/c my Rage card to do it. The DX8 beta still knocks 10 - 15 fps off my rate tho. Going to upgrade to a 800 Celeron soon I hope.

I see there are alot more ppl here playing with what you might call the slower rigs.
My father has a E-Machine computer that runs at 366 mhz and has a voodoo II 8 meg card. He gets real good performance out of it. Better than my 25-50 fps.

P3 500 here 128 RAM and a Voodoo5
does the job like, wouldnt say no to a better machine!
-
PII 266 here.
my sys runs AH at an average of 30 FPS, unless i'm around a damaged base..then it kinda drops to...oh...say about 12-15 fps
-
p3 550 here
-
Celeron 466.
If you change some settings in the BIOS (easily found on the web, which settings to change) you can increase your performance by about 10-15%.

Im running a P200 64meg RAM+ 16meg Voodoo 3 2000 PCI.
I get less than 10fps at 800x600 but I still enjoy it !
Last week for this rig though got a 1.4gig Athalon DDR 512meg and GeForce 2MX400 64mb coming in a weeks time so I should be OK then :D :D :D

P2 333 on a ASUS P2B with 128 PC100 and last but NOT LEAST a old ASUS V3400 TNT (original) with 16 megs RAM.
I average about 28 FPS unles Im near medium or large field under attack and smoking then its drops to 6-8 FPS and lower.
I need some new gear but I HATE SPENDING MONEY!!!!!

Celeron 400 with geforce 2 MX 32 meg. 128 meg ram, and a decent hard drive. I get anywhere from 50 in the clear to 5 or 6 attacking bombers with smoke. Typical fighting takes place at around 20 fps or lower around large airfields or the CV. I think this hurts me in getting quick kills since it takes too long for me to judge where they're going for lead deflection. If i'm all alone and don't have an enemy breathing down my neck, i can usually wear the enemy down IF I'm not against a superior pilot. :)

Celeron 400 overclocked to 450 here. That with a Viper 550 16MB gives me about 24-38 FPS depending upon the circumstances. Smoke....forget it!!! 7-10 FPS :)
I am building a 1.33GHz Athlon, 512 MB PC-2100 RAM, with a MSI GeForce2 Pro 64M right now. Got that backed-up with a Hercules Game Theater XP sound card and panel. Should be done in about 2 weeks. I have to send my Epox Mobo back. It will be intresting to see what she'll do in AH.

PIII 500 mhz here
-
PIII 500, 128 RAM, and a Geforce2 MX
I am getting 50-60 FPS and outstanding performance. However in recent days I have hada prob but have found it to be shared IRQ's

I upgraded last April, but before that I played AH on this system from beta forward:
Gateway Pentium Pro 200mhz
128 RAM
Creative Labs Graphics Blaster 16meg
Cable modem
AH worked just fine for me, I saw nothing wrong with my average 15-25 FPS. When I got near badly damaged fields (smoke), it would sometimes drop to 7-9 FPS and that was a little harsh. Clouds never bothered me much. Was just happy to be able to play.

Presario Pentium 90 but im on the PIII 500 right now

33 mhz 486 here.
