...nine years ago there was an attack on the United States of America. Four Commercial Jets were hijacked. The World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and one remaining aircraft were destroyed. September 11, 2001, may we never forget that day which lives in infamy, and the lives that were lost.

I get what you are saying, but you worded it wrong. It's not revenge we want. That is never a way to go. Revenge is only a way to dig one into a deeper hole. It is single minded and foolish. We don't want to stoop to a lower level. We are America, I think we should stay reslient, and persevere freedom and justice.
In the name of this thread, please, no argument or disagreement. A simple couple of words or a salute.

Period...
When your attacked for being yourself...for being Free...the notion of reconciliation is ridiculous...
That mind set is irreducibly reduced to an equation of FAIL...
The cult that did this must be eliminated...and we have nothing to apologize for..
America though flawed...has been and is a beacon of hope to the world...
And I will not reconcile, nor apologize for who we are...

:salute to the fallen before, during, and after, that horrible day. May we never, as a nation, ever forget their lives, the sacrifices and heroics of that day, and the heroics that happened after that day.
I remember the outpouring of kindness and solace from our allies the class and kindness from Great Britain, Canada, Australia, etc... For that every single person I ever meet from those countries will be treated as my brothers and sisters. I will also never forget the scenes of the people dancing in the streets when they got news of the attacks. You will always be my enemies.
God bless and protect the United States of America.

As one of the first few hundred soldiers in-country in Afghanistan after 9/11 I can tell you that even if revenge isn't politically correct, it sure was on our minds as we jumped in. :salute to the fallen. We paid those bastards back, I promise you.
